"INDEPENDENT FUNDRAISING REPS"

THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING TO ONE OF OUR ADS.

This program is designed for an “INDEPENDENT FUNDRAISING REP” (sales rep) to work within his/her local community (i.e., Brandon, Tampa, St. Petersburg, South Tampa, Lutz, and a number of other Florida and national locations). THESE are all called “core communities.”

It’s like having your own business without the start-up costs!
(If you are an existing fundraising company or are further interested in becoming an Independent Fundraising Rep email us for to be directed to our Password Entry Pages)

Kindly review this site before calling me at: (813) 243-0699.

YES, the “Founder” is 16 years old. NO, this is not a non-profit-company (hence no tax deduction), however, we deal with Non-Profit organizations seeking fundraising programs to earn dollars for their projects and goals (there may be tax deductions through them).

What is an INDEPENDENT FUNDRAISING REP (IFR)?

It is a name we use to describe our “fundraising program promoters” because it more accurately depicts the activity.

Is this the sale of Advertising?

NO. The organizations who are our target market are non-profits with specific classifications from the I.R.S., thus the business either gets a full Tax deduction as a donation, or it’s a business expense (see: Tax Exempt vs. Tax Deductible download).

How do you (IFR) earn your money?

You locate organizations (e.g., churches, clubs, schools, etc. – usually with at least 100 members) wishing to earn significant fundraising dollars in their community. Once they sign up to use our “THEBESTOFUS.BIZ” program, you will earn a minimum of $40.00 for each business listing they obtain. More will be explained in the “Password Entry” section if you elect to proceed or are already a fundraising company/vendor.

Who would be best suited for this type of work?

The retired, homemakers, college students and just about anyone [male/female] interested in working within their community to make it a better place. Even an existing independent salesperson with an unrelated route can also present this to his/her businesses (if they are organizations seeking fundraising dollars) as a community oriented departure from their usual product sales. Note: Anyone "well connected" within their community can do very well by contacting organizations already on known to him/her.

Who “donates” or pays for a “subscription” to list their business?

ANY business willing to make a statement of support to the youth in their immediate community is a candidate. No business is too small or too large (e.g., doctors, lawyers, stores, banks, restaurants, auto dealers, etc. – if they’re in the phone book, they’re a candidate).

What does a business get out of it, by being “listed” on their community site location (e.g., www.thebestofBrandon.biz)?

Usually a full “federal tax deduction” or a “business expense write-off” and the knowledge that they have made a genuine [put up or shut up] effort to support their local youth’s getting involved with one the finest TOTALLY FREE programs available to them outside of a school curriculum—the “Start Something™” program.

What is the focus of this business venture?

Obviously “fundraising” for the “client organization,” however, JR Johnson [the Founder] wants to sign up at least One Million young people [8-17 years old] nationally—the two objectives are VERY compatible. In order for this to work he needs to localize the effort and to get more people [youth & adults] familiar with the “Start Something” program. ONE of the biggest fallacies is that because it is a Tiger Woods Foundation™ program (in conjunction with Target Stores) the people who have heard of it think it has to do with golf! In fact, it has NOTHING TO DO WITH GOLF—It’s about helping young people to develop positive core values, leadership qualities, a strong focus on goal setting and role modeling. Thus, in the course of his march towards encouraging 1,000,000 new members, he knows there is nothing wrong with making money doing so—this is America, where good ideas and honest efforts are rewarded! Something the younger generation needs to understand clearly in these times of short attention span and the ‘next new thing’ to buy.

Are you a paid sponsor of the “Start Something™” program?

NO. If and when we are, it will be disclosed immediately.

Is there a religious affiliation?

NONE whatsoever, however, churches are also our fundraising clients candidates.

How much time must I spend at this effort if I became an IFR?

It is our preference to select dedicated people who will give it their all within their local community and general area, however, how much or how little is entirely your choice.

Can I work outside of my local community?

We’d prefer for the “IFR” to develop their home community, however, you may venture into other communities to locate fundraising candidate organizations.

How did a 16 year old come up with all of this?

Read his “Founder’s Introduction & Mission” on the front page. Once he devised a local [Brandon area] plan, he asked and I agreed to help develop it into a cookie cutter type Florida, then national plan.

Do I have to be an actual “sponsor” to a young person?

YES. DON’T PANIC! You won’t have to spend time with a troupe of kids or have meetings with them and it won’t cost you a dime! All you need to do is make certain that a young person you know (your child, grandchild, niece/nephew, neighbors child, etc.) enrolls in the FREE “Start Something” program and follows through with it (i.e., he/she makes an earnest effort to complete it—it doesn’t have a completion time limit as to how long it can take…weeks, moths…). You can rely on a report from the young person’s primary caregiver as to how they’re doing with the program. WHAT we really want is for you to have the credibility of having been responsible for an enrollment.

How will I get paid?

You are paid per the number of business listings your fundraising client’s members sign up (see: commission schedule at “password entry” section). Payment will be weekly.

Can anyone refer an organization to be signed up or sign up a business in the community in which I’m working?

YES, only if we approve it and it does not interfere with an existing organization or IFR in that community. When approved, if they are not an authorized “IFR” we will pay them 50% and pay the area “IFR” (if we have one) 50% of the commission rate that the business listings generate.

What items should I view on this website?

I would suggest that you read as much as possible, but certainly all of the “Founder’s Introduction & Mission,” and the Download materials in the section marked “Vendors.”

I guess I need to be pretty computer savvy?

YES and NO. Obviously you’ll need to be pull up our website and discuss it intelligently; and be able to handle email use (sometimes with attachments); and familiarize yourself with Pay Pal – that’s it.

How do I get started?

I suggest that you read as much of the site as possible…test it out (i.e., type in: www.thebestof(your community name).biz and you’ll see that it will bring you to the Founder’s Page each time).

Note: In the case where we haven’t selected your community, let us know why it would be viable as a “core community” designation (i.e., we deliberately left a many out, but they can be added quickly, even if only a few businesses are located there, e.g., Seffner, Bloomingdale, Zephyrhills, etc.).

READ as much as you can, about what we are trying to accomplish—THEN, give me a call (813-243-0699).

Thank you for your indulgence.
